Overview of Knowledge Base (KB) Guides

Learn about how to use KB Guides and perform operations such as add, move, reorder, and delete using GraphQL.

KB guides provide a clear, easy way to present important information, helping members find what they need.

Brands can categorize articles into guides to enable members self-serve and identify what they are seeking for.

Note

KB Guides can be created only on a KB board with articles. You cannot create an article directly from the KB Guide.

With KB Guides, you can do the following actions:

  • Create a guide under a KB board
  • Create a chapter under a guide
  • Update guide
  • Update chapter
  • Add articles to a chapter
  • Add articles to a guide
  • Move a chapter under a guide to another guide
  • Move an article under a guide to a chapter
  • Move an article under a guide to another guide
  • Move an article in a chapter to another chapter
  • Move an article in a chapter directly to the same or another guide
  • Reorder the guides
  • Reorder the guide contents
  • Reorder the chapter articles
  • Delete a guide
  • Delete chapter
  • Delete articles from guides
  • Delete articles from chapters
