The Dev Tools section of the Community Admin gives you access to several useful features to help you get started with the Aurora Software Development Kit (SDK).
Sections
Within the Stage branch's version of Dev Tools, the Dev Tools page is separated into several sections.
Community SDK
The Community SDK section provides information to help you install the SDK and validate the customizations you create.
This section includes a series of useful CLI commands you can use to clone the repository, ensure supported software versions are installed, install dependencies, and initialize the local config file.
SDK Key
The SDK includes a key generator that allows you to generate a token for validating and uploading customizations you've made with the SDK. You can also revoke the active SDK and generate a new one as needed.
You can find more information about this tool in our guide for Generating an SDK Token.
Git Branches
The Git Branches section lists available branches for your site and indicates the active branch. Each branch is listed with at-a-glance information about the latest commit and the number of commits ahead or behind the primary production branch.
You can change your active branch to validate changes in one branch before applying updates to other branches.
More information about this tool is in our Changing the Branch to Preview Changes guide.
